Hello Smiles, and a warm welcome to the site.

Life has been difficult, especially last year and sometimes anxiety and panic attacks surface for no unexplained reason, making it hard to cope with the situation we're in and having to deal with our kids who may not understand what we're going through.

There are people including myself who would like to talk with you, and please remember that we ourselves have had to struggle with our own type of depression, so don't be afraid in asking or telling us what you are having difficulty with.

I've been on the site for many years and want to help you.

Best wishes.

Geoff.

Just feeling so overwhelmed the feeling of “impending doom” I get sudden panic attacks sometimes takes me an hour to calm myself down.. I’m not on any medication I know I need to see a doctor but being a weekend I can’t 😞

Hi Smiles4eva4,

Welcome! I suffer from anxiety, contamination fears and ocd. I'm finding motherhood overwhelming. It's a life sentence with no parole.

I understand what you mean about the panic attacks and the difficulty to calm down afterwards. I find it helpful to keep telling myself these bad feelings will pass and just "ride it out".
