Yeah , we lived all over the country for 13yrs , knew no one , and as we only ever stayed anywhere a year, two , never really had friends or got established anywhere. We even had our daughter totally alone because we were 2000k from rallies and our best friends we had living there whom were gona be with us at her birth were on their honey moon and 1000 k away also. because my daughter came 3wks early.
But tbh , mostly it was some of the best times of our life, we had so much fun and lived in ways most only ever dream of.
But your not traveling and moving about by the sounds your just moving to another spot to settle, you guys will be fine, you'll have a ball and all new things and people. And because your settling there in time family if you want will start to come up and you'll make friends and build a life..
Good luck

PS .
And if it happens later that you don't like it there in 5 or 10yrs, or family reasons or whatever, you can always move home again. We actually did , well 3hours from home anyway , in the end.
A lot of reasons, but my daughter being born and rallies coming up and living with us for visits, in our house , for weeks on end , was biggie.
