Hi, welcome
what you are experiencing is not do uncommon but it needs expert diagnosis.
Im 64yo and spent my first 50 years undiagnosed. Eventually in 2009 I was diagnosed with bipolar and dysthymia the latter responsible for high emotions , sadness and crying. Little did I know. Small amount of medication would balance the ship and change my life.
So make an appointment with your GP to talk frankly about what is going on. With proper care you will improve. Also ask about 10 free visits to a mental care professional through a care plan.
Once stable your negative thoughts will drift away.
