Introduction

Hello. I my name is Emma and I’m 13. I just signed up to this website to talk to someone about some stuff that’s going on but I’m not really sure what to do or how it works and I am kind of paranoid because I entered my personal information into a website without my parents knowledge.

So basically, is this how I do it? Do I just post a question on a ‘thread’ and someone will reply?

Hi Emma, my name is aX and I'm somewhat older - generally not a good idea to give specific information out in public. As to questions you wish to ask, I imagine it is as you did for this post, find the general topic heading that may be best suited to your question then "start new thread/question" or however it's used here. I've just this minute signed up your intro was near the top so I jumped in to see how things worked and looked.
No question is ever dumb, it's usually the answer when given by someone who has no idea, just a loudest voice.
We may not meet again so I hope you find you person to speak to, best wishes aX

Hello Emma, and welcome to the forums, there is never a dumb question that can be asked simply because it's something you don't know and we learn by doing this.

We all have to learn someway, by reading but then questions may be asked why, discuss the protocols and experience both sides of the topic, that's how we can progress in life.

You can either continue adding onto this thread, but if you have a specific question you want to ask then click onto 'All Posts' and select which section interests you, and then at the top right there will be 'Start a New Thread', click onto that and ask your question.
