Nini,

Hi. Welcome.

Starting off can be daunting. Not sure what to say? Worried about what you say? How it might be interpreted? The roller coaster of emotions. All I can say is there is nothing for you to worry about in here. You will not be judged, and this is a really safe environment in which you can vent, chat, talk about your feelings, etc. And other people will respond to your needs. We try to build each other up.

Try the BB Cafe area for general chatter. Somewhere in that vicinity you will also find word games that can also be a distraction.

When you are ready, let us know your story. And people will respond to you with love and kindness.

Dear Nini4017~

I'd like to add my welcome to Smallwolf's. Starting to post can be a pretty big barrier. If simply reading is enough for now that is just fine - that's what an awful lot do.

I think I simply read for around 3 years before posting. That came about because I read of someone else struggling with the same illness as myself (PTSD) and started to post to let the person know what was happening and what to expect. This lead to receiving support myself.

So please take your time, you will be very welcome if and when you decide to say more.

hi Nini, welcome and pleased to meet you.

There are all the different sections so you can browse through them all and then one of them may interest you more than the others, and if you like one particular comment it's probably good to read it a couple of times. Geoff.
