Hi everyone
My name's Jo and I've suffered from anxiety and depression for most of my life..
Biggest feat of my life other than having 4 beautiful daughters is getting through everything that life has thrown at me..
My loves are my family and friends.. Pets and nature.. And helping people realise that they are not alone in there struggles..

Once anyone has depression as well as anxiety it doesn't matter whether we can overcome and handle it, it still remains with us, with the likelihood that it could bring on a relapse.
It's great that you can help those people who feel alone, something which they feel as though they don't have anybody who is interested in helping them, but this also means that I also hope you have family/friends who are ready to return your concern when you feeling down. Geoff.

Thanks Geoff..
I have a great network of friends that help in return..
I started my own local fb support group over a year ago and it has been the most rewarding thing I have done.. Other than I have made many close friends

Hi Jo,
Thanks for your lovely post!
Anxiety and depression are a frustrating duo, and the symptoms often feed into each other. Thankfully, there are a variety of great treatment and support options available now. Online forums and support groups, seeing your GP and/or a mental health professional, using helplines, and having social support from friends and family can make a huge difference. Do you currently see your GP regularly, or a mental health professional?
It's great that you have a positive bond with your four daughters. How old are they? I really like your display picture, by the way. Are they your own pets? I love cats, and my family and I have an eleven year old black and white male cat. He is such an individual, and really is part of the family.
It would be great to hear back from you 🙂
Best wishes,
Zeal
