I wasnt sure if i should do this, but here i am, so i might as well give it my all.
I am Dylan, a 39 year old guy from the northern tablelands of NSW. I have lived with anxiety and depression since i was 17, and i suppose i am here because i am always trying to find new ways of dealing with this condition.
I am hoping to find a network of individuals who might understand what it is like to live with severe anxiety, so that maybe we can share solutions and techniques to getting relief from this condition.
I am not sure what else to say at this moment, other than, i guess, if anyone has advice, or wants to talk about their anxiety, i am here to help in any way that i can.
Thanks, Dylan.

Thanks Kanga, i am already happy to know this place is here for a friendly ear.
I dont have a lot of friends these days, as my condition makes it a bit tough to go out and meet people, so i am grateful to have a place to come to where i might be able to talk with like minded folk.
I suppose i should give a little insight into my condition, i suffer from social anxiety and panic attacks, that have led to some pretty deep depression, but with that said, i am always trying to find the happiness and beauty in life. I love nature, i have found it is one thing that has brought me releif, and that is pretty handy as i live in the country.
I get a bit tounge tied when it comes to writing, so i might leave it here for now, but thanks again to anyone who reads this, just knowing you all are here is a releif in itself.

Hello Dylan, welcome and for posting your comment.
I'm pleased Kanga has replied to you because when depression hits us it can tend to lead us into having social anxiety with panic attacks.
It's the fear of being the centre of attention, being evaluated negatively by those around you, and showing signs of anxiety in social situations, or you may do something embarrassing, but when you're alone in the solitude of nature then that's where you find peace.
Allow yourself some time to feel adjusted being on the site, it's good to have you.
Geoff.

Hi Dylan, I'm so pleased you've been able to post your comment because there are so many people that don't know help is available and know they can feel comfortable talking to other people who have struggled with own type of depression.
It's very brave for you to do so and hope you can get back to us.
Geoff.
