Hi, welcome
Sensitivity can comes from all sorts of origins. Like-
- Maturing
- Hereditary
- Dysthymia
- Depression
- Anxiety
- Negative thinking
I have Dysthymia and it was triggered at 12yo by a backyard trauma.
So with so many possible causes it's best to talk to your GP. They can guide you.

HI, have you kept a log of when these feelings of sadness happen, what are you doing, when and how did you feel. What random acts or words make you feel this way.
I always thought I was able to handle most things until the last year or so when I got injured and now it doesn't take to much to make me feel sad, overwhelmed and depressed.
To cry is no shame so I've learnt as I never used to cry but now for no real reason it happens. Its a release of emotions that are built up within you and as they say better out than bottled up.
