Hi everyone, my name is Jessica. I’m joining this community because I believe mental health is something we all experience in different ways, and having a safe place to connect, share, and learn from others can make a big difference.
Life has had its challenges, and I’ve had moments where things have felt overwhelming, confusing, or harder than I expected. I’m here because I want to understand myself better, improve my wellbeing, and be around people who understand that everyone has their own story behind what they’re going through.
I’m a mum, and one of the biggest things that matters to me is creating a positive future and being the best version of myself. Like many people, I’ve had to navigate stress, emotions, relationships, changes, and situations that have tested me. I’ve learned that reaching out and talking can be a strength, not a weakness.
I’m hoping to use this space to listen, learn, and share when I feel comfortable. I know everyone’s journey looks different, and I respect that people come here from all walks of life. Sometimes a simple conversation, a kind message, or knowing someone else understands can make a difficult day feel a little lighter.
I’m someone who values honesty and real conversations. I don’t believe people need to pretend everything is perfect all the time. I think growth comes from being willing to look at ourselves, recognise what we need, and take small steps forward.
I’m looking forward to connecting with others, hearing different experiences, and being part of a community where people can support each other.🙃

Hi Jessica
Im new to the forum too. I also feel that little acts of kindness, acknowledgment and consideration goes along way.
We can all learn something from other peoples journey and experiences.
I find reading about others struggles amd hardships reduces feelings of isolation and loneliness.
Ive been diagnosed with a few mental conditions and my life has been particuarly hard over the last few years and the last 12 months has been pretty difficult.
Im still trying to work out how to self regulate better.
Can you tell me abit about yourself?
Only if you want to obviously.
What do you like doing for fun?
Or to wind down and relax?

Hey Jessica. I understand. As someone who deals with depression on top of schizophrenia and Autism, it's a pretty tricky thing. But the thing that helps me is knowing that my family and friends always have my back. I'm guessing you have mental health issue too? What exactly have you had to go through if you don't mind me asking?
