Hi my names Elle and I'm 22. I've never been on an online forum and am hoping I'll get some understanding and support for my generalised anxiety and social anxiety.
I've recently broken up from a 4 year relationship and just feel like everything falling apart. I posted about my experience in the Relationship and family issues forum.
Would be nice to hear from you 🙂

Hey
Yes I experienced so many good things in the 4 years we were together. He was really supportive of my anxiety and new that he had to aks multiple times to go try something new together before I actually agreeed. So he got me to do so many things that I never would have imagined myself doing and I'm so thankful for that. I guess I'm also having trouble with all of those great memories now and just don't know what to do with them.
I enjoy reading, going to my nbl teams games, doing crafty/diy projects, cooking, listening to music

Hi Elle
Good on you for having the courage to post!
There is a ton of support and understanding here for your GAD no worries at all
I used to have chronic anxiety for a long time and the good news is that it does reduce in severity when combined with super regular therapy and (if prescribed) meds depending on the level of anxiety and whether or not it effects your daily quality of life
I had about 13+ years of panic attacks before I started committing to regular counseling which gave me most of my life back. Even a good GP can make a huge difference to our recovery 🙂
Its great to have you on the forums Elle
my kind thoughts
