Hello everyone

Hi . I’m new here and have just joined. How is everyone? Are you happy? I’m happy now and have had a stable multi cultural marriage for 41 years now, had no alcoholic drinks for 46 years and am very happy. But it wasn’t always like this.

I went through a very turbulent period in my life involving 6 suicide attempts, being in and out of many mental institutions and even receiving 6 courses of ect. So if there was hope for me then I personally believe that there is hope for everyone as I was diagnosed as a chronic schizophrenic yet now I’m amongst the healthiest people on earth mentally and with no issues whatsoever.

So I look forward to get to meet you all and see how you all are doing.

Hi worldcitizen1919 and welcome

Wow, you've come a long way! Congratulations regarding all the hard work that has brought you to this point in your life. I would love to hear how you raised your self to get to this point; all the tips you have. Maybe some of them included:

  • Rising to the challenge that comes with accepting help
  • Rising to the challenge that comes with letting go of destructive beliefs (often instilled by others)
  • Rising to the challenge of coming to know your most natural self

As I say, you've come along way, so I imagine you had many challenges over time and rose to a majority of them, gradually. It can definitely be a slow torturous process, largely depending on how down we are and what troubles us.

So, how did you do it? Look forward to hearing from you!

🙂
