Feeling down-AGAIN!

I have had depression most of my life. I have been seeing a psychologist for a few years now. I am also on anti-depressants. I find living a constant struggle. Living is hard. Being genuinely happy within myself seems impossible at times.

Hi Min pin,

I'm so sorry to hear that you're feeling so down! It's good though that you have reached out on the forums as i can definitely tell you that you are not alone and many of us have shared these feelings you have going on for you.

I think it would be a great idea for you to contact your psychologist and try booking a session with them and letting them know how you're feeling. Maybe the medication you are on at the moment isn't right for you and your GP could assist with something else, I don't know. But you need to know there is support out there and there are DEFINITELY better days ahead for you!

Sometimes writing down how we're feeling and what's going on in our head during these times can be a benefit, as for the next time you see your psychologist, you can share the thoughts you were experiencing at this time with them and they can help support you further.

I really hope you're okay! Sending you positive vibes! 🙂

That sucks I know exactly how u feel. Just see if your doctor can change your medication and yeah as tough as it is, being proactive with acting on making yourself feel better whether its things that make you feel good at the time/temporarily e.g. buying something or more of a long term effort e.g. going to the gym like I have been struggling to do atm, but am pushing through it. Yeah that is because of how my physical health is, anyway sorry I've had a tough period recently its not the place to vent particularly given what you said. Do hope that you feel better soon though
