I decided I wont post my full story here because in the past (on other forums) ive described my history over the past 19 years and literally been banned or ignored because no one seems believes me. It is very complicated with about 3-4 (unrelated as far as I know) issues but ill do my best to describe them.
Im a middle aged male who was diagnosed with epilepsy when I was 17. I mention this because ive read elsewhere that the drugs I was prescribed can have side effects including depression, and related. ALSO, I dont think its related but Ive been suffering from 'random' explosive/anger episodes since I hit puberty around age 11. I wouldn't mention this normally but nearly 37 years later I still suffer from them. Ive also suffered from Depression (my main concern) and been diagnosed with Bipopar, having attempted suicide roughly 10 times over the past 15 years.
Im already close to hitting my 2500 character limit without even describing anything ? so in short I dont know how to proceed ? No one in the medical community including psychiatrists, GPs, Mental Health wards etc. seem to be willing to offer help beyond offering me drugs. I dont want to put a strain on the hospital system and really dont know how to proceed ? I would offer a more detailed explaination but there is a limit on how much I can type here.

Hi, welcome
The 2500 limit is a bother sometimes but its ok, you can clarify more in future posts if needed.
We are people with mental health issues often with a raft of life experiences but we aren't professional medical staff. But you will get support in a largely non judgemental approach.
So, how is the depression effecting you mainly? motivation, sleeping difficulties, anger? Feel free to continue.
Once posted we sometimes take hours or even days to reply as we drift away to other activities eg we arent in an office as such.
Regards
TonyWK

Hello Dear amayako,
A very warm and caring welcome to the forums...
Thats okay about not posting your full story here...over the next few weeks, months or years...(depending how your getting along)..slowly with some support and care by the community members, your story will eventually be heard...but spread over several posts here on your thread...as the conversation spreads, and if you feel to open up...
My story is also unbelievable, when I read back...but I did go through what I did and I survived it....still am with the wonderful people here, who have helped me so much....so much that I have decided to give back to the forums....the best I can...
We are here for you amayako, and will do our best to help support you through these feelings you’re going through...Depression/PTSD can take us back in time, reliving it all and bringing with it all the feeling we felt back then, to the forefront of our mind...
Just wondering if you have some professionals helping you with your mental health?....if not is it something that you may consider reaching out for?...
My kindest thoughts with my care Dear amayako,
Grandy..

Hi amayako,
I am sorry that you have had so many struggles & for such an extended period. It must feel so frustrating & disappointing to feel let down so persistently. As TonyWK mentioned, you are more than welcome to share more in the replies on this page about what you have been/continue to experience. What currently is feeling most difficult for you? Is there anything that you have done or experienced in the past that has helped at all?
Take care, & please do not hesitate to reach out - we are here to listen
