Depression

Depressed how the life turned out. Tried to mitigate the effects by supporting, being loyal, caring, compromising with partners family and still not enough. Why looks are so important. Wish had knew that the person you trusted would change to the core, perhaps would choose a different path.

Hello Ashu, and welcome to the site.

Trust in believing you had total belief in someone supporting you or making the right decision can at times challenge and even cause some type of trauma in the after effects of believing and/or trusting the wrong person.

Looks are definitely an indication of whether or not you can trust someone where you can be honest without any fear of retribution, but giving yourself up too soon will likely ruin what you thought you had, and the same can be said for giving into love too late, however, if they suddenly change direction, unexpectedly, then sometimes it's not the lie that hurts, but the truth that it’s covering, so their looks become irrelevant.

I am really sorry this has happened to you and please remember that a partner should be your partner, not someone who feels as though they own you, otherwise problems may develop.

Would really like to hear back from you and hope I'm not confusing you.

Geoff.
