I’m the happiest I’ve ever been, yet I keep doing behaviours from when I wasn’t. How do I change or convince myself I am happy

Dear AshleeS~

I'd like to welcome you here to the Form, a pretty good move as there an awful lot of people here with a wide range of experience.

First I guess I'd like to say I'm glad that you are happier now, which while excellent implies times past when you were not.

So I guess, if you would not mind, talking about it, I'd like to know more about those unhappy times, waht was wrong?

When unhappy one can take all sorts of actions to cope from anger, to drink to ... well all sorts of things. They can become habits or things you rely upon.

Without a bit more information we can only offer very general information, and I or others would like to be able to give you information that relates to your specific circumstances.

So I guess we need to know about the behaviors you mentioned (if you want of course) and what it is that makes you hesitate to feel happy now.

I hope to hear more from you
