I have joined today and am really grateful for the site and forum. I never write and rarely talk about issues affecting my life which I feel ashamed of. Already though.. in taking this step of joining and writing, it looks as though things can change. I am glad I am making this step.

I've been on this site for several years as well as being a Community Champion. I hope you settle in here and open up when you are ready, no pressure, no judgements and totally anonymous.

The advantages of this site is- you don't have to wait for an appointment weeks away to chat about something you cannot wait for (to non medical people), you can post 24/7/365 and receive a reply within a reasonable timeframe and we do discuss many issues including embarrassing issues.
