Hi Luna Eclipse,
Sorry to hear you are going through this, you are not alone here. I'm glad to hear you have been to see your doctor but i think they should be doing more than just telling you that you will be fine. It sounds like you would benefit from some counselling. Your gp can put you on a mental health care plan where you get 10 free visits. Have they suggested this at all?
Are you aware of anything that triggers the anxiety/panic attacks? It i an awful experience there are apps which guide you through deep breathing and relaxation techniques. One is called smiling mind and another is called calm. You can try going for a walk as this is helpful also.
Hope this helps somewhat, hope to hear back from you.

Hi there,
Thanks for replying, I have been recently put on a health care plan and had a few visits with a pychologist but she told me I didn't connect with her and does not want to treat me anymore. I was put on medication but I ended up in hospital as I had a bad reaction to it and now I'm too scared to try anything else. So I'm going to try to cope without prescribed meds, I have all the apps and go for drives with my partner but what makes me these panic attacks worse is when I start feeling all these weird body symptoms and I keep thinking that something is wrong with when I get it and it scares me which also enhances my attacks. I had blood tests a few months ago all was fine just my iron low and vit D low, they did halter tests for my heart all came back fine and you would think that would reassure me but it is very hard to stop worrying when you feel horrible things going through your body. It's literally driving me nuts and I get angry at myself for feeling like this.

hi
first off you are brave coming on here so you should be proud of yourself.
Panic attacks are scary, i have been having them for 11 years and i still find them scary. when i feel them i put something cold on the back of my neck to help combat some of the things that i think are happening in my body. it also gives me shock and gets me to think about my breathing.
another thing is maybe get a referral to a new psychologist. i had to see 10 different ones before the one who actually helped me. and the medication can be hit and miss, i tried so many different ones before the one i'm on now. it takes the edge off when i have an attack.
its easy to get angry at yourself and feel like its stupid that you have these attacks, your not alone though. i find that when i'm struggling i go onto here and give other people advice from my experiences. it helps to feel like im not alone
good luck
