Hi team,
Anyone have recommendations on improving sleep whilst managing anxiety? Sometimes I just toss and turn for ages and generally only get 6 hours a night. Would be interested to hear peoples feedback.

dear Ben, not being able to sleep, well there's nothing worse, but back when I had major depression I would turn on the radio and listen to music, focusing on the songs that were being sung.
Another option is if you have a TV in your bedroom to watch it, again focusing on what program is on, and this doesn't mean any news.
You need to try and break the cycle, because at the moment your mind is programmed to wake up and stay a wake, because at the moment as soon as you wake up you automatically think that you can't go back to sleep, so it's this that you have to try and change. Geoff.
