Hi there,
Welcome to the forums and thanks for your post. I am not 100% sure about referrals for rehab facilities but I would imagine talking to your GP first would be a good start in getting support. Book an appointment and I'm sure you'll get the right support pathways available.
Wishing you all the best in your journey.
Kind regards,
PsychDiaries

Hi there,
I can hear that you’re looking for a referral for detox.
Are you experiencing any difficulties at the moment?
If you feel comfortable sharing more information with me, I may be able to offer you a more detailed answer.
To answer your question, one possible option is to call the National Alcohol and Other Drug Hotline on 1800 250 015. This service is operated by Lifeline and offers free and confidential counselling, information and referral services for people experiencing difficulties with alcohol or other drugs.
You can also call Uniting in Victoria and TAS on 1800 700 514 ( If you currently live in VIC and TAS). A clinician can assess your situation, develop a personalized plan with you, and refer you to a program that best supports your goals.
I hope you find this information helpful!
Warm regards🤗
