I'm slowly making my way through this online CBT program. Anyone else doing so or have done?

Dear 1963 - same birthday year as mysefl, Brad Pitt & Johnny Depp,

50th Birthday Present ?

Internet CBT sounds like hard work online.  Don't you miss the physical interaction ?  The passing of ideas ?   The humanity of therapy with a real person ?

Adios, David.

dear 1963, online courses can be good, but the one thing they miss is the face to face contact, because with this we can't avoid those intriguing little questions that the psych. suddenly pulls out of the hat, whereas online we can avoid them.

I did an online CBT for OCD and it helped me 75% but I had to continue doing these exercises everytime I knew that I was wanted to do a habit/ritual after the course finished, but it was time consuming and a great effort, so it was much easier to do the habit/ritual.

I do admit that when the person handling this CBT rang me once a week I was sort of annoyed, she was a lovely person, but I didn't like someone knowing about my habits/rituals and what I could stop and what I couldn't and then why not. Geoff.
