I take an SNRI. It works well, but its side effects while going onto them were fairly yuck. I had to come off of them before having second child and that was even worse for about two weeks. I dont get any side effects once I've been on them for about 2 weeks.
Sorry, hope that helps.

dear 2teray, welcome to the site.
It would be interesting to know what type of other medication you were taking, but to answer your question yes I have tried SNRI, but everyone is different, so it's not an easy topic to discuss, well not really, but the SNRI I took didn't work for me, plus their were too many side-effects, mainly a sexual one where I couldn't get excited, but none of these could happen with you, so don't be turned away from what I have said.
You would know within a couple of days, but now I take a SSRI because I have OCD which means anxiety, plus depression although I have overcome it, but I'm still taking them.
I'm no expert but as you have anxiety and agoraphobia as well as depression, I'd be interested to know if you tried SSRI antidepressant medication. Geoff.
