Is there such a thing as a drop in clinic in Sydney?
I tried counselling but mentally trying to put my problems (concerns) in buckets, putting holes in buckets, filling cups up, boxes etc was not for me as I couldn’t relate and gave up.
I need help but don’t know where to go.

Hi Needsmotivation,
Thanks for your post.
I've heard of drop-in clinics before but I didn't think there were in Australia yet? I had a bit of a Google and couldn't find any. The only drop in clinics I can find are for Doctors which is not what you're looking for. From experience, there is always a wait - it's just a matter of how long.
If you're feeling like you need to talk to someone now; we have BeyondBlue support line which is 1300 22 4636, Lifeline at 13 11 14 and the NSW Mental Health line on 1800 011 511.
I actually found the Mental Health line today for NSW and it says that it's for people that are -
Contacting the Mental Health Service for the first time.
Want information, advice or assessment of mental health problems.
Would like to see a mental health worker.
All of these lines are 24/7.
Hopefully this is a good place to start.
