Hi Universling,
It won’t take long for you to get familiar with this forum & website.
Did you know you can use the chat online feature to speak to someone at Beyond Blue (limited hours) or you can call them anytime. They might be able to give you some advise in who to contact 8n regards to complex trauma.
i have used the 1800 Respect website & the Blue Knot Foundation but not sure if that is type of help you are looking for, as there are so many different types of trauma.

Hello Universling, and welcome to the forums.
Being in a position like you are facing, there is so much support in all different ways and realise it can be quite daunting to know where to start, that's understandable, I was in exactly the same situation when I first started, many years ago.
Can I suggest you click on 'All Posts' and browser through the separate sections, then read the comments that suit you and how you are feeling, then you may want to reply to that thread.
You can also expand on this thread and look forward to hearing back from you.
Geoff.

Hi and welcome to BB Forum Universling, (I like your username)
The best way to find a therapist is to call the Mental Health Hotline in your state. They can look up people in your area and, let you talk a while about what's going on as they're very experienced and professional consultants.
My diagnosis is complex post traumatic stress disorder (CPTSD) so I truly understand what you're going through. Finding support both offline and here on the forum will help turn things around, I can assure you.
Learning how to navigate this site takes practice. It's the same for all of us when we first come on board. Please don't let this deter you from posting or getting to know our members ok. We're a caring, like-minded bunch who are here to support you. When you write about your life, others will benefit from your words and experiences too.
We all learn quite quickly that it's therapeutic to support others while we're recovering. Having people to talk with that are going through similar situations means you don't have to feel so alone on your journey.
I wish you well in your search for support and hope things start to improve soon. Looking forward to seeing you back for a chat...
Kind thoughts;
Sez (hugs)
