Changing Dosage

When you increase dosage of medication does it start working instantly or is it like starting a medication and it takes time to feel the effects? Any answers appreciated,

Also does anyone have any tips for dealing with the "dizzy" feeling in your head when anxious?

Hi d1106,  welcome here to BB forums.

Sorry its been quite a while since your post and no replies. Perhaps medication questions are best left to the professionals.

Anyhow, I had found it still takes time for the higher dose to chip in. Certainly for me it didnt work for a few weeks.

Dizzy feeling....no I never had that when anxiety was a major issue for me.

Keep posting if you are in need of advice.  cheers.

Hi d1106!

Agree with WK, increased dosage will take time to kick in.

I have the occasional dizzy spell, and have been told it could be associated with the medication.  I have no solution, except avoid rising up too quickly.  Sorry.

Take care

dear D1106, it really depends on how much the increase is, like being doubled or just a small increase, so an analogy would be like say a billy cart being stationary on the top of a hill and then it slowly picks up speed as it goes down, so the same applies to increasing AD's dosage.

With regard to your dizziness could be the increase in medication or have you been put on blood pressure tablets lately or an increase in them as well. Geoff.
