I was trying to help another member find these on Carer Gateway. I have only managed to find the Victorian resources so far, please see below

The Australian Carer Gateway is an Australian Government initiative. Their website is - https://www.carergateway.gov.au . Alternatively, you can call 1800 422 737 Monday to Friday 8am to 6pm or request a call back.

Hi Pamela

Thanks for the positive feedback. Sadly, they don't actually have a way to search for mental heath carer support groups - only Adult Carer and Young Carer, which is not finegrained enough in my opinion.

I have raised this with them and hope to get some feedback or see something more finegrained next time someone needs this help.

Thanks for letting me know. I have found the information accessible by doing a search in the carer gateway website for mental health and was taken to the following page - www.carergateway.gov.au/mental-health-services

I see however this is frustrating. When you're mentally not feeling the best you don't need the hassle of being unable to find what you want. Hope the Carers Gateway uses a label for Mental Health soon.

While I was out and about looking for sites I also found the National body -
www.mentalhealthcarersaustralia.org.au/about-us/

This website gives a list of the groups that I think you may be trying to find???

Yes, I finally found that too. Thanks Pamela. I noticed it didn't have the same Victorian group on it.

The other thing that helped was going to Carers XXXXXX and searching for support groups.

Yes, I realise I left of the Victorian group. That's because you had the details in your first post. It was included in the website that I mentioned above.
