To all the beautiful people 🌞
Words placed in a particular order can have a profound effect on us.
Words can bring us a moment of comfort, give us a different perspective, or change the course of our thinking and outlook entirely.
I would like this to be a space where we share quotes that have meaning to us or that have the potential to bring some comfort or encouragement to somebody, even if just for the moment in which they are reading it.
I will start.
Courage doesn't always roar. Sometimes courage is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying, "I will try again tomorrow." - Mary Anne Radmacher
Go gently with yourselves lovely people.

When everything seems way too hard, try to concentrate on 3 things:
- Get up
- Survive
- Go back to bed
Sometimes it is a major personal victory just to survive the day. Learn to celebrate that victory ... with the knowledge that things will not always be this difficult.

You will lose someone you can’t live without, and your heart will be badly broken, and the bad news is that you never completely get over the loss of your beloved.
But this is also the good news. They live forever in your broken heart that doesn’t seal back up. And you come through. It’s like having a broken leg that never heals perfectly - that still hurts when it gets cold, but you learn to dance* with the limp.
- Ann Lamont
*or walk...walking with a limp is okay too...
P.S. Music_Freak, it sounds like you could do with a hug. So if you’re okay with hugs, I’m going to offer one to you today xoxo

I'll take that hug, thank you Peppermint 🙂
That post made me cry, thinking about my mum, it's very true. Always hard around my birthday, hers and Christmas and the anniversary...

I’m so sorry about your mum, Music_Freak. You must miss her terribly...
I hope the next couple of quotes bring you (and anyone else who has lost a loved one) some small comfort.
It’s just fine to feel a little heavy, and it’s fine to just sit here and catch my breath, and it’s just fine to be a mess at times, and it’s fine to be relatively normal sometimes. It’s just fine to miss them. It’s just fine to let it all hit me, surrendering and succumbing.
And it’s just fine to remember that grief has no rules, and that it really, it will last as long as Love does.
- unknown
Grief, I’ve learned, is really just love. It’s all the love you want to give but cannot. All of that unspent love gathers up in the corner of your eyes, the lump in your throat, and in that hollow part of your chest. Grief is just Love with no place to go.

"Even if you fall on your face, you're still moving forward"
Basically, if things aren't working for you at the moment, trying new things and not succeeding isn't necessarily a bad thing. It is much worse to just give up and not attempt to move forward!
