Hello all,
Sometimes just doing the basics is so hard. It can be tough not to get down on ourselves when we’re struggling with things that ‘should’ be easy.
But we deserve to celebrate even the smallest achievements, because they are really feats of strength when you’re unwell. It’s ok if you can’t do everything. We know you’re doing your best, and that’s enough ☺️
What are 3 small (or big) achievements that you’ve had today?
For me: 1. I washed my hair
2. I drank two glasses of water
3. I sat out in the sun for 15 minutes
How bout you? Let’s cheer ourselves and each other on!

Hi Red_Velvet! Welcome to the achievements thread! Great to have you here! 🤗🤩
Hi Depressionisation! Welcome to BB and I agree! 😅😆
Hi Guest_5432, I LOVE to hear someone singing! 🤩😍
My achievements so far today:
* waking up early after only a few hours sleep to clean our porch ready for delivery of new furniture
* having the capacity to organise new furniture AND deal well with strangers delivering it all
* maintaining an optimistic outlook, happiness and GRATITUDE for all that I have, most especially my children growing in their own capacities also... it' so beautiful and humbling to witness.
* doing some self-care things first thing - meditation, Prayer, warm drink, incense.
Love EM

Hello All.
My achievements I still having the ability to sing from my heart .That makes me so happy lifting up my spirits when in this pandemic crisis, Stage 4 now as of 6pm, 2nd August. Curfews severe each night to 5am in the morning!
I'm not singing because I'm happy about severe crisis here in M/Metro Victoria. I either sing or cry. Singing gives me a totally different disposition of things than bawling my eyes & feeling no better afterwards.🎵🎵 I do feel very sorry for so many folk who are unable to sing to cheer themselves up.
Having a good cry nothing wrong with that- releases heaps of stress hormones.
Had my big cry many years ago, there's no more tears left.
Regards

My Big achievement was that early hours this morning I actually phoned the BB 24/7 Coronavirus Counseling Service. They are highly trained counselors ready to listen & give practical advice with much needed information during stage 4 lockdown. I've always been an very strong independent person who seldom asked any for help or support of any kind & taught my children the same as my parents taught me. There comes a time in one's life that I needed information. Expressing myself to a counselor about the concerns about my adult children & adult grandkids wasn't an was thing to do. They have been exposed to C-19 & now all have been advised to quarantine. It's so upsetting to know this as they also complied to the premiers instructions. I'm unable to help my own children no matter how old they are, I'm still their Memre & feel totally helpless to be for them due to lockdown restrictions in hotspot area where it's against the law to leave hotspot area in another area. They're adults with adult kids of their own.
Those counselors were absolutely marvelous by their caring disposition.
I would recommend anyone needing extra support to give them a call on the BB Coronavirus Counseling Service to put any one's mind at ease should they have any concerns.
They certainly have helped me with my anxiety with their professional expertise.
Thank you BB

Hi everyone!
one big thing yesterday - I was having a anxiety attack about a subject in the uniprep course im doing - but I took the step to email the course coordinator for help. This is huge for me because I'm the sort of person that will not ask for help if struggling.
I had a great psych session last night - just talking through it all.
I'm slowly getting used to the idea that its OK to ask for help! and I need to remember that I have so much love and support around me.

Hi Guest, well done for reaching out to the helpline! I'm so glad you could feel some comfort in these trying time. I really hope all your family are all right and travel through this extremely challenging time together - apart!
I know how frustrating it is not being able to help those we love.
But you are helping by getting help yourself.
LOVE EM
Gambit good on you for reaching out for help with Uni. Well done.
My 3 achievements
* completing another short week at work - VERY challenging environment atm and getting more difficult.
* I didn't pull out of my psych appt tomorrow lol... not sure if that's a good thing or not... I'll see what our potentially last appt holds and see...
* I was exhausted so went to bed when I got home, was asleep for 4 hours. I don't take the time to look after myself at all very often so going to sleep was an achievement for me,
EM
