On returning my shopping trolley today I was confronted with a lady and two small kids that looked less off than me I suppose. The lady fumbled for a coin and I said here by the kids an ice cream 🍦, She looked at me as if I where giving her a 100 , it was $2

They are great special moments, I understand the weight gain thing. My hubby's best mate has a brother who is Down syndrome,he is part of our family and we have to watch him at gatherings cause he will eat and eat as if it was his last meal.

If you haven't tried it,muffins can be fun too.

How old is your daughter? What else does she like doing?

I bought some smelly cheese to share with my husband tonight. As I waited for him to pick me up, I think everyone that walked past could smell it and thought it was me!

Today I text a friend to see how she was,even though I am pissed off cause she hasn't contacted me in over 4weeks to see how I am going without teeth. I felt good to force myself to do it. She still hasn't asked how I am.

Today it stopped raining for a bit,so we went fishing in the tinny and caught 3 bream and 2 good sized flatheads. It was nice to get out and do something with hubby.

9 names later, I'm almost toothless too! I'm waiting to be called into the dental clinic to have a full top denture & a plate for the bottom made up. They said it would be about a month, 4 months ago!! I still wear my plate but the old top denture is no good.

Today I got out of my safe lounge chair. I made beef stroganoff for lunch & I got my husband to make the mashies too!!

I also washed a couple of tops that are drying in front of the heater.

Not much but I feel a little better about myself. Now if I could just force myself to have a shower!!!!!

Hey all,

today my daughter asked me to go for a walk,it was hard for me to go as this was an unusual thing.

It was hard to think of what to wear and the same old,I didn't want anyone to see me without teeth.

We had a lovely time and walk.
