Healthy Eating and Exercise Tips??

Hi everyone,
I just thought I'd post on here that I want to be more disciplined with healthy eating and starting a regular exercise routine. I already know what I need to do, I just need help with motivation and keeping myself on track. Does anybody else have any tips on how I can stick to healthier eating and my exercise routines without relapsing, which is something that I have gone through time and time again?
Kind regards,
Gabby

Hi Gabby
My wife and I decided 5 weeks ago to do a lifestyle change.
To eliminate -
all bread except pita bread. We heat half a pita slice up in the oven till crisp and use it for hommus or avocado dips. We thinly spread tomato paste on another with egg and mushrooms like a pizza
No sugar
No potatoes
Lots of eggs but with say scrambled eggs we use 4 large eggs but remove 2 egg yolks to lower fat intake.
Low fat items for snacks.
No restriction on fruit.
Our fav foods are salmon, cabbage, zucchini, chicken breast and home grown vegies.
Pumpkin soup using JAP pumpkins (a tip...use one teaspoon of curry powder).
Use rice sticks in place of pasta.
We walk 4kms 3 times a week.
We've both lost 6 kgms.

Hi Gabby_01, thanks for posting this. We have had a number of people start new threads on this topic recently, it would be great if we could keep all these great tips in one place.
Below is a link to an older thread on this topic which has been going for some time:
