Encouragement for weight loss and healthy eating

Hi Everyone.

I am just going to put this title out there and see what happens. Later on I will try to add old thread titles relating to this issue.

People may have wonderful weight loss stories to share, ideas on exercises that are beneficial, reducing binge eating tips etc.

Healthy recipes will also be welcome. Maybe even healthy foods you enjoy but your family consider to be rabbit food! Ha. Ha.

Unfortunately for depression sometimes means binge eating and comfort foods. A carrot just is not comfort food to my brain! I need to find ways to rechannel that way of thinking!

All ideas and thoughts are welcome here!

Cheers for now from Mrs. Dools

Hey Emmy...they sound yummy ...I dont know what a enchilada is.....but maybe mexican I would love it...:-)

Always great to see you Emmy xx

Ah... another coconut water lover Mr Woof and are you referring to the brand "cocobella"? And have you ever tried cracking and drinking the coconut water from a young Thai coconut. They are normally found in the fruit and vegetable section, they are white and often wrapped up in clear plastic. They are normally around the $3 mark....... It is quite an adventure cracking those , fun really.

I like the enchiladas Emmy. You should try the Tortilla Stack that is one of my favourites.

Hi Everyone,

Sounds like some of you are doing very well on your healthy eating routines! Well done to all of you.

I want to congratulate all of you who are even thinking about trying to eat more healthy choices of food, at least that is a beginning!

Someone mentioned walnuts, I have a bucket of those in the patio waiting to be cracked. They were given to me over a month ago, just haven't found the occasion to crack them yet!

While I am recuperating from my sinus op, I am trying really hard to not get stuck into the "sometimes foods". Who on earth decided to call delicious fattening snacks "Sometimes food" is beyond me. They obviously don't suffer from emotional eating problems that happen more than "sometimes!" . Ha. Ha.

I will let you know Emmy about the results of the op after I have seen the ENT Dr. on the 9th.

Had some delicious dark orange chocolate today...will try to put the rest back in the cupboard before I eat it!

Cheers all from Mrs. Dools

LOVING Lite N Easy. Enjoying guacamole on ciabatta toast for afternoon tea. Carol are you doing 1200, 1500 or 1800 calories? Think I've asked but cannot remember. I'm doing 1500 and I love the snacks that you get. Nom nom nom

Hi Emmy,

I am doing 1200 but it allows for me to have a lite n easy dessert if I really want something sweet at night.

I am enjoying it too.
