Coronavirus & Your Music...A Feel Good Thread

Hi Everyone! New members are always welcome to post too 🙂

This thread topic and the Coronavirus have one thing in common...They are both temporary!

This is only a 'Feel Good' thread topic as the music you LOVE can help with its energising effect thus providing a feeling of relaxation...increased focus and emotional well being too 🙂

Sometimes going through periods of huge stress/anxiety I always forget to use music as a self nurturing method to 'ground/distract' myself

What is your 'FEEL GOOD' song/artist that helps lift your spirits in this difficult time?

my kindest always......Paul

Note: Beyond Blue have provided the official thread about 'Coping during the coronavirus outbreak' for everyone in the link below

Hello Paul, I have been sitting on this thread trying to work out what song or even a band or artist to choose from, because as soon as I hear something that's being played, I chose that, only until another song hits the airwaves, so my list changes every minute.

The meaning and the tune of each song can relate to another feeling each time, a song for happiness and one for when you feel all you want to do is crawl into yourself.

Great thread Paul and I'm sorry I haven't replied earlier.

Geoff.

Hey Geoff

no worries at all Geoff and thankyou for helping out on this temporary thread topic too! You have been through a difficult period with your surgery(s)

The moderators helped me change the title over from 'song' to music...they've been great

you must have had a band or radio station you switched on in the car in the late 14th century....;-)

my kind thoughts

Paul

Hi Paul, thanks and I like the 14th century and back in those days I listened to 3XY when you could buy 45 vinyl records or 7 inches that were 'dime a dozen'.

I owned plenty of 33 1/3 LP's which I gave away a long time ago, Bee Gees, Glen Cambell, Evis, Nana Mouskouri, Anne Murray, Neil Diamond, the list varies so much and now again once married Classical music appeared every now and then.

Once a song is mentioned then that's also what I love to listen to, all except for Rap music which doesn't do much for me.

I've burnt many discs which I play in the car of songs I never get of listening to.

Take care.

Geoff.

Hey guys!

He's not for everyone, but I'm loving Tim Minchin. A good place to start is "Not Perfect". There's a lot of his stuff on YouTube.

Hi Paul, thank you for this thread.

I love lots of rock and metal bands but Matchbox Twenty are my favourite, hence my username. And Rob Thomas, the singer and a solo singer. Tabitha's Secret too (band before MB20).

The Cure's depressing albums are a good go to for me too, of course they make me more sad, but they're relaxing and take me to a different place kind of thing.
