So, who is watching Please Like Me?

I quite like having something on the teledu with characters that I can relate to... How often do we get something that deals with mental health and has gay characters that are not tragic? Actually they are a little inspiring. I rather like the way that so often the rather daggy becomes fun. That I spent time in a psychiatric unit doesn't seem so bad, because when I think about it I really liked the others in there and the way we accepted each other, laughed when it was funny, sometimes were just quietly there when others were not doing well... I wonder what happened to all those kids.

It took me way too long to figure out that each episode is named after food and that the recipes features in the opening credits.

Rob.

I might have to give it another go, all the episodes are up on iview at the moment. it's nice to see a show with a gay main character that isn't so obsssed with sex.

I loved the show, the way everyone could eventually laugh at what was happening, not because it was funny but because it was real and everyone cared and the tension needed to be released.

Aussie created television is pretty clever at times (outside the hours of 6:30PM to 7:30PM)

I think Maggie cat and I will watch it again while I continue learning machine embroidery digitising - it's pretty technical I love a good technical challenge though.
