Hi all,

Ive just recently moved to the Sunshine coast and because I have moved this has worsened my anxiety and depression. I'm currently studying and work 6 days a week. Im finding my self sink deeper and deeper into a hole. Recently I have started to think about what the point is of living. Im not trying to seek attention, but I find it hard to talk to my family about my relationship issues including work and studies.

is there anything i can do it get out of this state. im desperate now, im trying to run and its helping a little but i feel like im sinking.

Thanks in advance

Hi Kazan, welcome to beyond blue I'm glad you have reached out to us, here you can feel free to express yourself within a non judgemental community. Sounds like you have a very busy schedule with work/study's I'd be feeling physically and emotionally drained as well. Can you tell us more about your relationship family/work issues and your depression and anxiety. Dan.

I am writing with concern for my son. He came out a year ago and has had to cope with severe anxiety and ocd.Since coming out he is mentally free and finally mentally got it together. Now he seems to have depression. He literally has no friends and this is getting him down. It is not from lack of trying. He has done a lot of volunteer work in the LGBT community but things change all the time. He grew up in a homophobic environment and has lots of alpha males. He keeps having hope but Adelaide is a very tight community and not much around for the LGBT community. We have tried everything and it hurts so much to see him like this.
