Hello,
I have a client whose dad passed away 5 months ago and he is struggling to emotionally regulate and vocalize his emotions. He tried to attend just a kids camp (nothing specializes) but got sent home due to his disengagement and non compliance to camp rules. Is there any kids/teen camps that might be more suitable for what his going through in Perth, WA?

Hi Helping Hayley,
I have no idea of anything like you mention, I live in S.A. and don't have any idea about kid's camps.
I assume you are a carer and work for an organisation, maybe you are an independent contractor? Either way does the organisation you work for have ideas about children's camps? Could you contact your local council and ask what is available?
You may be limited with the time you have with your client and maybe also be restricted by rules and regulations as to what you can become involved with, but is there any way you can help him in some small way to deal with his present state?
Could he express himself through drawing perhaps, by making a collage of pictures of his Dad, or release his feelings physically?
Hope you manage to find something that will help.
