Hi everyone,
You might’ve noticed things look a little different on the Forums homepage. We’ve been working behind the scenes to make the Forums easier to use, especially for people visiting for the first time.
Here’s a rundown of what’s changed and why:
Real discussions, right up front
We’re now showing actual posts from the community on the homepage. This gives new visitors a better idea of what the Forums are all about; people like them supporting each other through mental health and life challenges. It’s what makes the Forums so special.
Easier to find topics, from any device
When you’re on your phone, you can now easily access Forums topics. These are the topics that were previously on the homepage. If you’re looking for these you’ll now find them by clicking Topics in the main menu on whatever device you’re using.
Clearer links for newbies
You’ll now see clearer links to key info designed for first-time visitors and new members like the Forum Guidelines and FAQs. These are great starting points to help people understand how things work and feel more confident joining in.
Why we made these changes
We know the Forums can be an effective support, but for new visitors, it wasn’t always clear what they were or how to get involved. With this update, we’re hoping to:
- help people discover the supportive community here
- encourage more sharing and support in discussions
