How can we improve the Forums?

This discussion is a space for all members to share suggestions and ideas to improve the Forums. This can be anything. Navigation, notifications, topics and themes, moderation, community rules, or something else!

 

We'd love to hear about what you think we can do better. We are really grateful to everyone who has contributed their ideas already, and we're always keen to hear more.

I only see one comment per page and no matter how much I try to hit oldest to newest or vice versa I can't get the posts in any discussion here in order. If I click back one page, I get two weeks ago. I am simply unable to read any thread in order now.

Hi, what I am trying to do is get an email when someone replies back to me, and not an email to say that I am following a thread, I've checked 'my profile' and 'settings' but I can't see where I am notified if someone returns a comment.

This was suggested by someone that we would be notified and unless I'm doing something wrong I have a box called BB Discussions which is full of threads, instead I want an email when a person has replied back to me, otherwise I have to browse through page 1 to page whatever searching, and this takes too much time.

Hey Geoff,

Hmm, it would be worth checking your notification settings for this. Have you tried going to Settings, Notification Settings, and then scrolling down to Email Notifications? Automatically we set everyone up to have them on “Daily Digest” mode (to email you once a day only), however you may prefer to select “Immediately” next to "New replies posted to content I follow" and "Responses to other replies I follow".

i keep getting emails that there are replies for this thread that have nothing to do with me. i have clicked unsubscribe in the emails but get an error message everytime. i have unfollowed this thread too. it's rather annoying & i'd like it stopped please.

I have deleted and reinstalled my email software. The email address you have now is still current and now active

All I am asking...is when I click  on My Discussions...all I get is the discussions that I myself have started...and...although marked from "Most Recent" they begin right back at the beginning, years ago.   All I want...is to join in the" Discussions"  I have been involved in...,MOST RECENTLY.....What do I click on to find them?  Or am I forever left outside forum forever.   I have tried. I just want to join in discussions with my forum friends......as I have been doing for 7 years....PLEASE!

lately i'm seeing some very weird & triggering posts in "all discussions". some of the things are about politics, completely unrelated to mental health. like why is that on here? i feel like not using the forums due to seeing these triggering & odd posts.
