Why am I always ignored

Sunetra
Community Member

I don’t understand what is wrong with me or why it happens to me but i’m always the one that gets ignored and i’m always the one that gets left out or forgotten with friends and family! I am one of four girls but i’m the odd one out and have been my whole life and I can’t deal with it anymore I am so hurt but at the same time i’m almost numb

I just want to know why my family would treat me like this if they didn’t actually hate me

Hi Sunetra,

I’m so sorry you’re feeling this way..

your family doesn’t hate you or anything if the sort so try to remind yourself of that.

perhaps you could sit down and talk to them how you’re feeling. They probably don’t know you’re feeling this way and I’m almost certain they would feel terrible knowing you’re feeling like this.

Have a chat to them and take it from there. All the best xo

Hi Sunetra, so sorry to hear your feeling this way. Have you spoken to your parents/mother/father/whoever looks after you about how you're feeling? If you can't say what you need to say to their face, maybe you could write it down? I'm sure if they knew how you felt they would change the way they treat you.

Hi Sunetra it seams to be a common thread you have hit on here I know of several people who feel the same way about what is happening within there families. Mine as well more often than not the rest of the family are busy with their lives and fail to notice they have left one out. One time a friend of the family went camping with there family when leaving to return home driving half way home to realize they had left their mother and one of the sisters in the caravan park they returned picking them up to go home. No mobile phones at the time. That was not deliberate so go talk to the rest of you family see what they say
