Hi Gj-1974,
I am sorry to hear that you are struggling at the moment.
There is lots of support and kind people here on the forums.
Domestic violence can wreak havoc on so many facets of life.
Firstly try 1800RESPECT there is an online chat for information on where to find help with your health and emotional wellbeing.
At the moment there is a lot of focus on assisting victims of domestic violence. Through my work I know of programs that specifically address housing for victims, this could be help to remain in current housing, crisis accommodation or rent to own properties. I recommend doing an internet search for DV housing in your state, please reach out to one of these organisations so they can offer you support during this time.
Here to support and listen, reply if it’s helpful.

Hi wishybee l was able to access a family violence payment to replace household items taken but as we were sharing a house together she left suddenly and l found another housemate but she is leaving also so l can't afford the rent alone. It's just too much and it's causing other health problems.

Hi Gj-1974,
It’s good you could access a payment. There are also non government bodies that can help with housing. You may be eligible for rent assistance, it’s worth contacting some agencies for assistance.
Perhaps if you had some help with your housing requirements it would alleviate some stress and allow you to better address your health problems.

Hi Gj-1974,
I would recommend reaching out to housing support agencies in your state, there are new government initiatives that assist victims of domestic violence to remain in their current residence.
