Hi
I would like to know is there anyone on here who has been struggling to find a psychologist? My name is on waiting list at a number of psychologist practices but I really really need to find a psychologist ASAP due to something that has trigger me. but it looks like I won’t be able too see a psychologist until next year.

Hello PU, and a warm welcome to the site.
It is so disappointing when we have to wait 6 months or so to be able to see a psychologist and then hope that the two of you can connect with each other, but if you can look at these, then copy and paste them in your search browser

You could also try your local community health centre.
Hope this can help you.

Hi PurpleUnicorn,
Yes this is really common to be on such a wait! I'm sorry.
If you do have the energy, I encourage you to keep looking. If you are willing to see one via Telehealth you may find that you can get in sooner. I can't link to private businesses here, but if you were to do a search for 'online bookings' it can show some results where you can see their wait. You could also search "no waitlist" and/or if you are on reddit this could be a great option too since they can share names/places.
While you do have your name down at a few different places, one thing I did is just email any others that were accessible and listed emails. It's long winded, but saves a lot of calling/re-referring.
I hope you can get into someone soon.
