I moved from New South Wales to ACT 7 months ago. Started a new job to be closer to family. Now I find myself an absolutely no motivation. I work sleep and sit on the lounge. I don't know how to get my motivation back

Hey. It sounds like you are just burnt out. Moving and starting a new job is already exhausting enough, but having to add other things on top of that can become overwhelming. At the moment you are doing an incredible job at just getting out of bed, going to work and socialising. That is already a huge feat that shouldn’t be overlooked.
However, in regards to motivation, it will take a lot of time for that to come back. Although you may feel impatient because it has already been 7 months, 7 months is not a huge amount of time. If you add on the huge life changing events you have experienced, there is no wonder why your motivation is lacking. Your body probably doesn’t have the energy to fuel motivation at this point in time.
To move forward, just take baby steps and also realise how much work you have already put in to get where you are today. It is alright if your motivation is lacking right now. It is to be expected and the sooner you comes to terms with that the easier it’ll get.
now, when you have the time, add in some hobbies or fun things to do in place of lounging around. This could be a walk, painting, exercise, singing, dancing. Keep in mind though, you don’t want to overdo it, otherwise you could overwork yourself and burn out again.
Just take things step by step and reward yourself for getting this far!
