Need Help Getting Work

Hi BBs,

I am currently in the midst of a major mental health crisis perpetuated by unemployment.

Is there any help out there to support people with invisible disabilities, which mental health unwellness is, in my opinion anyway,  to get back into the workplace?

It is difficult to fit into workplaces, so ideally a job where I can work on my own and plough through allocated tasks. Perhaps a call centre?

If there is any support out there, I would be very grateful to be pointed in the right direction.

Many thank in advance,

OMD.

Many thanks ER. Clarifies a lot. And I am terribly sorry for your circumstance, makes me feel a bit dramatic and overreacting. I hope you are managing to live a fullfilling life living with the physical and mental challenges you have. A true survivor. Well done! A valuable contributer.

Best wishes,

OMD.

Thank you OMD 🙏

I don't think you are overreacting or that your circumstances are any less. I think everyone's situation is unique. I am 49 and it has taken me this long to really ask for and admit the help I need. It's been a struggle to communicate the challenges I've had and to feel safe doing so. So I would say reach out for help in the places that feel right. There are always actually supports and it is just a matter of finding the right ones that match up with your needs.

Hugs,

ER
