A very warm and caring welcome to the forums…
Im sorry your struggling with depression..
Depression is different for everyone what works for one might not work for others, for me I distract myself from negative thoughts by listening to my radio or do something I like that I need to concentrate on…
Im wondering if you are able to reach out to your Dr and talk to them about how your feeling so depressed..they can help you and fix you up with a mental health care plan if they think it will be beneficial to you…
Do you know if anything happening recently has caused you to fall into depression?..
If you search “depression” in the search bar on-top of the pages you will find lots of threads and information about depression…that might be able to help you..

You took a good step forward coming to these forums…Another great step forward would be to also reach out to your Dr…depression is really hard to get through on your own…I tried so hard for a few years to “fix” myself and ended up in hospital for my mental health..please burnsey I am gently urging you to reach out to your Dr and talk to them about what your feeling, thinking etc and receive the help you so very much deserve…
We are people who have lived experience with our own depression, and can really only let you know what’s helped us get through it…for me it’s distraction away from my unhealthy thoughts…by doing things I like..it’s not a cure but it just helps to get through each day the best I can….My Dr helps me a lot as well…without professional help it was too hard for me each day to live a life that was free of hurting…
Please feel free to talk here whenever your feeling up to it..I’m certain others will pop in and chat to you as well..
