hi and welcome to beyond blue.

I know there is nothing I can say will make you feel any better. I am very sorry to hear about your loss. The bond between a child and parent is very special. The way that you described your mum as best friend... I cannot imagine the loss you feel.

I also want you to know that whatever feelings you have are natural. Please do not allow anyone to tell you how you should be feeling - everyone's experience is unique. I might also suggest that 2 weeks is not really that much time. And if you were involved in funeral preparations it may feel even shorter. Some people may get over a loss of a loved one quickly and for others it may take some time. If you feel that you are not coping you can always seek professional help to talk through the matter and find a way of moving forward.

If you want to chat about here also... I am here and will listen and respond as I can.
