Hi there,
I’m feeling incredibly down right now and can’t even bring myself to eat. I have no appetite at all. Does anyone have any tips on what to do?
I’ve barely been able to focus at work and have spent all of my free time lying in bed. Everything feels like way too much right now and I just don’t know what to do. I usually see a psychologist but right now I can’t see her again until next month. I’m feeling very stuck and trapped inside my own mind and would appreciate any advice.
Thanks

Sorry to hear that Mazzy. I can relate because I feel exactly the same way. My only solution is to make some healthy food and simply force myself to eat it. It’s so important to try to stay physically healthy if you’re going to tackle the mental issues.
I know that’s not very insightful advice. But, I more just wanted to let you know you’re not alone.

Thank you for the advice, Archie! I managed to get myself to eat a small meal thankfully. Feeling the slightest bit better after eating and chatting with a couple of people.
Sorry to hear that you feel similarly though, hope you’re doing okay and had some healthy food today too!

Hi Mazzystar & Archie,
Welcome to the forums.
I'm suffering from the same lack of appetite at the moment. I have to force myself to eat though as I am still breastfeeding my baby.
I cooked up some veggie muffins - basically steamed veggies pureed & mixed with wholemeal flour, egg & cheese. These are small, easy to get down, and are full of vitamins & healthy stuff.
Otherwise the only food I'm interested in is toast - which isn't very healthy.
I do suggest eating small bits throughout the day rather than try and eat a big meal. Especially if you haven't been eating for a while.
Kind thoughts, Jess
