Hey I’m new here , hit a point where I thought I’d reach out somewhere
I don’t want to feel like this anymore, nothing brings me joy I just wander around the house all day waiting for my fiancé to finish work doing nothing and feeling lost. I have no motivation to do anything anymore,
I’m so sick of being an insecure hermit with no friends but idk how to change it . I’m just so depressed...

Hi Jessaree, welcome to the forums. Good on you for finding whatever needed to be found to post. I can empathise as I'm similar to you in my daily routine, a little lost, doing nothing to fill the time - it in itself is depressing. For quite a while nothing brought me joy either, just going through the motions, it is an incredibly difficult space to be in. Now I look forward (to these forums) have established somewhat of a loose routine, doing pilates, guitar practice. Mind you pilates only goes for 10mins so that's a bonus - felt achievable from the outset. Is there a local library you can borrow items from, this is where I learnt of the 10min pilates dvd, then I bought my own copy.
I just want to sit with you, and have you sit with me in this 'don't know what to do' space. If only we could, I'm sure you would be great company. We could pull faces at one another until one of us cracked.
I wish I could say something that would help you, I'm glad to have 'met' you and wish you well. I hope you come back and chat.

Thank you , it’s nice to know I’m not alone in feeling like this. I have so many things I’d like to do but I feel like my anxiety holds me back because I don’t wanna go out on my own. A routine will definitely help I used to have one went I went to uni but I dropped out because I was too overwhelmed and now I’m too scared to do anything ahah. It’s a cycle that sucks. Maybe I can find some YouTube videos of yoga or something I can try to do.
if only ahah, I can make some pretty hilarious faces

Someone got me onto You tube yoga you could try 'yoga with adriene' she's got yoga for depression and anxiety heaps of stuff. I admit I haven't done a lot of her stuff- your helping remind me - I should do more.
The negative cycle sucks, big time. I wish I could write something helpful. If you've had a routine before then it sounds positive you will find one again and you've got things you'd like to do - perhaps it's about breaking them down into smaller steps.
