Hey Luke2020, welcome to the Beyond Blue forums, we're glad to have you here.
We're sorry to hear how stressed and upset you are. When did you start to feel like this?
It's great to hear that you have booked an appointment with a health professional. We think it's really strong of you and so important that you have been so proactive in recognising you need some help and seeking it. We recognise that this must be an overwhelming situation for you, so we just wanted to let you know that if you find yourself feeling particularly overwhelmed before you can get an appointment, please know that there is help available to you.
MensLine Australia is a free 24/7 telephone and online counselling service for men with emotional health and relationship concerns. You can contact them on 1300 78 99 78 or https://mensline.org.au/
We'd also encourage you to reach out to our Beyond Blue Support Service, which is available 24/7 by phone on 1300 22 4636 or on Webchat 3pm-12am AEST on our website: www.beyondblue.org.au/getsupport. One of our friendly counsellors will be able to talk through these feelings with you and can offer support, advice and referrals.
Please feel free to keep us updated here on your thread with what you are feeling and experiencing whenever you feel up to it.

Hi Luke2020,
Thank you so much for sharing, it's really brave of you.
Sometimes it great to chat with your GP, that might be a great idea for tomorrow?
I know the pain of different medications, if you stay strong your GP might be able to help you, oh so much. The BeyondBlue helpline is also great help, give it a call, just say hi and see if you like the consultant.
Stay strong Luke2020, and I'd love to hear how you are.
Regards,
Doz
