I definately need more help and probably admission, but my family would be destroyed by this. Husband needs to work and Daughter has been diagnosed and hospitalised with Anorexia and Depression.
Have a Great Psych but till can't ring her and say thing. Have self harmed today a number of times. Had a anxiety pill and nothing is working.
This is a site she suggested.

Hi Caspercat
You sound very distressed at the moment. I am worried that you have self harmed a number of times today. Is it possible to see your GP today. You really need to speak to someone as you're in a bad place at the moment.
I feel for you with your daughter being hospitalised with anorexia and depression.
But you also need help and support.
Please contact beyond blue1300 22 4636 for support., They are there for you, they will listen and help you.,
Please let us know how you go and please give them a call.

Hi Caspercat,
Thanks for joining the forums. Glad to hear that your psych has suggested coming to the forums for support, there are some great people here who will identify with what you’re going through and be able to talk with you.
I’m concerned that you mention self-harming a number of times, if you have injured yourself then you may need medical attention. As difficult as it is, you need to tell your psych what is going on, and possibly see your GP for treatment of your injuries. You have a great relationship with your psych, she will want to know what is going on so she can best help you.
I’m very sorry to hear about your daughter; it sounds like she is getting the treatment she needs, though, and you need to be looked after as well. The best way you can support your family is by making sure you are well, and not hiding what you’re feeling to spare worry for others.
Please give our support line a call today if you would like to speak with a professional counsellor at any time on 1300 22 4636.
Anyone else with some words of support?
best
CB
