dear Cazza, you are having such a difficult and painful time, and nothing seems to be able to give you any strength, but that's understandable, because there are times in our life that we can never ever seem to overcome, only because the circumstances aren't right.

Firstly I don't believe that the medication you are taking is the correct one or that the dosage is high enough.

There seems to be a few different problems that I can see in your post and they are

-your partner

-your loss of your job

-the selling of your house, and then what to do and where to live

-your son who obviously wants to stay with you

-the protection of your son

-the medication

-your lack of sleep

-no one is helping you after 22 years

-I realise that all of these can be added together, but can you list them in a priority order as to which one is the worst to the least.

Dear Cazza,

I am so sorry that you are going through such a tough time. You are such a loving Mum and I admire you for that. You do need to be there for your beloved son, but you need to look after yourself first.

I suggest you go back to your doctor to check out the meds (change or increase in dosage) that might begin to help you go through your depression.

Hi Cazza

I'm sorry I didn't reply to you earlier.  I feel for you.  Sounds like your son is very important to you and that you are a great caring mum.  You deserve to be happy.

You really need to see your GP for help.  Please keep on writing here, we  are here for you.

Take care
