Hi
I went to see my psychologist this morning and talked about some pretty heavy stuff 😞 but anyways talking away and I told her I'm getting part payment from Centrelink a disability pension and work as well which I claim my wages every fortnight .....
But what has puzzled me was the look on her face? .... which was of really, why?.... which has worried me ever sense this morning, .... my anxiety is high 😞 and now worried she might ring Centrelink and say something? ....
Even though is not about the money ... its about my health and wellbeing!!#
I have taken 9 weeks leave cause of my relasp with my depression ... 8 weeks ago and I took unplanned paid leave and unplanned unpaid leave .... and without the Centrelink payment I would not be able to the buy food or pay bills and pay my loan repayments etc ..
I see her next week and I'm going to bring this up? should I or shouldn't I? 😞

Hi welcome
Yes you should. You need to mention anything and everything to build a relationship...or imo its a waste of time.
Fraud is a bigger issue now than ever before. You have your reasons as you stated but unfortunately, none are valid enough under the law. Thats not to say l dont understand.
I suggest you put in plans to save money so this doesnt happen again. You are likely to have these hurdles come and go regularly all your life, plan for them because, as a past worker in fraud investigations, you will get caught eventually.
however, we all need to learn from error. The guilt you display is worthy of praise. The answer is to gather enough savings to prepare for sick periods.

Thank for your reply White Knight ....
But I would like to mention to you I am not guilty of any wrong doings towards Centrelink at all ...
I have claimed my wages right from the start of my employment and lodge them into Centrelink every fortnight ...
And don't appreciate you saying I'm guilty .... I'm being nothing but honest with all involved!!#

Hi MissMc
Please accept my full apology.
I had to read your OP again. It is clear i didnt take in the words " which I claim my wages every fortnight".
Your psych might have assumed similar?. Looking surprised at you is a puzzle i think needs clarification.
At any rate im sorry. Your relationship with your psych is so important for your recovery it is best to keep disclosing facts about yourself and dont hold back.
It took me 25 years to fully recover from anxiety. Perhaps i can recommend the following threads for a good read. Use Google
Topic: meditation, words of wisdom- it helped me for 25 years maharaji- beyondblue
Topic: anxiety, plan your future-beyondblue
Topic: running around trying to save the world- beyondblue
Topic: seeking the origins of anxiety- beyondblue
They are a sample of what is on this site
