Hi
I wanted to start this thread so that there was a place that people could introduce themselves and have a chat and make some friends when it seems that is a really hard thing to do in the "real world", that out there in life it is so very hard for people to make friends and maintain friendships and feel like they matter and are of value in a friendship.
So welcome and I can't wait for you all to chat and share with each other and know that you have friends here.
So to start the conversation if you feel it weird to write a post on here....grab a coffee or whatever your chat drink of choice is..maybe an Oat Milk Chai...yum ...and let's get started making new friends....
"What is something that no one would know by looking at you?"
Mine is that I speak Thai.....
Hugs and love as always
Sarah xxxx

Hi Freemilly
I am so glad that you have posted here today and I hope that you will continue to chat and to get some of the things that are bringing you down off your chest, we are here for you, you don't have to put on your mask and you don't have to smile. This is a safe place to do a purge and to get some of these feelings out and to have someone to listen and to chat to, we are here.
I have no idea the strength and the energy it must take to get through a day putting a smile on your face when all you want to do is cry, so I can assume you are a very strong person Freemilly. You choose to get up every day and fight and you chose to put a smile on your face, that is so very brave.
I am wondering if you have some things in your day that do make you smile, for real? If you have some hobbies or some interests that make you happy? I see that you love your job and the fact you are a carer means your heart is probably huge.
We are here for you Freemilly, to chat and to listen and to care.
Hugs to you
Sarah

Hi all, my name is a reference to a song by an electronic instrumental music group called "The crystal method" (no don't give me that look, the band was out long before ice use was common, I just like their music ok?)
As I write this, I am listening to track called "SAMIDARE" it is Japanese for; early summer rain.
It is a track taken from the anime Naruto Shipudden,
being xmass as I write this, I will probably spend it alone again. Which kind of bums me out but I have spent previous holidays surrounded by people I don't like. And in all honesty being alone is preferable to that. Usually during the holidays I go to a charity where they are holding a free xmass lunch. But with the whole covid lockdown thing, that's not happening this year. Also the weather doesn't really want to be summer at the moment. So, I guess snorkelling is off the table this year as well. Well in any case I have plenty of art and writing projects to keep me busy as well. I really struggle to form relationships in the real world. On the internet I can control the level of socialising I do more easily.
What people would never guess by looking at me is: I able to touch type at about 53-61 words per minute with an accuracy of between 73-95 percent, depending on how much caffeine I have had and how much sleep I get.

If you want to listen to The Crystal Method, then I suggest the following tracks; Keep Hope Alive, Name of the Game, Get busy child, Weapons of mass distortion, I know it's you, glass breaker, vice, can you trip like I do, acetone
You should be able to find them all on youtube. I would love to be able to get a license, car or bike. However, because of my mental state, I have problems focusing my attention. So, I have safety concerns. Also I am too broke to get a car and license, -shrug- oh well such is life. Although I have heard that getting a license for a bike or scooter is somewhat easier, then a car.
If you would like to learn how to touch type, I suggest www.freetypinggame.net, that's where I learned to type. Also I learned on a game called Typer Shark. Although it was on yahoo games and they were discontinued quite a while ago. However there are plenty of sites which have typing style games on them. I was trying to get a job in a call centre, and thought that increasing my typing speed would help. However, no one wants a misanthropic introverted loner working for them. But I don't regret it, I have foudn many other uses for it.
Ps. Thanks for replying to me.

Hey mb20lover
I am so happy to see you here and that you have found this little place on the forum to let us know that you are in need of a friend right now.
We have chatted in the past and I just wanted to stop in and see what is happening in your day and how you are doing today?
I have just had the most amazing Chai latte and it will set me up for a happy few hours at least...I love the smell and the warmth and just having the cup to hold that makes me feel good.
I am off shopping tonight to get my daughter a new back pack for school and other than that there is not much happening for me today..what about you?
Hugs to you
Sarah xx
